Displayfusion virtual desktop4/30/2023 ![]() While this may work in the short-term, it only takes one to be replaced with a monitor of a different aspect ratio to cause this problem again. ![]() The only other solution we have thought of is have all monitors be the same size across every workstation. The shortcoming with DisplayFusion in this case is the app doesn't have the usual window styles that applications in Windows launches so it's non-responsive to the commands sent from DisplayFusion. One solution I have tried is DisplayFusion desktop management software. ![]() Has anybody had experience with a similar problem and found a fix for it? Unfortunately, this means that important updates are not visible to the user if they appear on the off-screen portion. It is easy to not notice this application is going off-screen. However, since this app automatically opens, most users would not think of closing and re-opening. There is no way to correct it from the app other than closing and re-opening. I'll include a picture I made to help explain: picture of app going off screen Whenever a user locks one workstation and moves to another with a monitor of a different aspect ratio, there is a risk this application will render partially off the screen on the right side. This application is primarily used in a VMware environment which is where the problem begins. ![]() Even apps that render full-screen will have their top border aligned with the bottom border of this app. The thinking is that if you have a single, large screen, you would only use it as a single desktop, and size/move your windows to match. This app is always on top and it "pushes" the desktop icons and other applications down below it. We find multiple displays useful for being different desktops, yet the initial reason for that is we couldnt get screens that were large, so we needed to string them together. We use an application at my workplace that displays as a banner across the top of the screen.
